The frame itself was exactly what I expected. Unfortunately, the Rx for the lens was not processed correctly. The glasses can not be worn unless I have the lens replaced. If an order is placed in the future, only frames will be ordered.

Watch out for the pupillary distance

The glasses themselves seem to be a good product. However, I can't see through them very well. I'm not sure, but I suspect this might be due to my reporting an incorrect "pupillary distance" to recspecs, along with my prescription. My local optometrist said South Carolina prevents him from giving me my pupillary distance. So, I had to measure it myself. I measured it several ways - both with a ruler provided by RecSpecs, and with a couple of iPhone apps. Distances ranged from 60mm - 64mm, and I submitted 63mm. Maybe it was wrong and that caused the problem. For whatever reason, vision is not very good out of these glasses. Other than the prescription, however, they seem very nice.

    Smaller than his last pair

Unfortunately my son went back to using his original pair. He’s 11 and these are considerably smaller lenses than his first.
